as above guys, i have killed my diff on the GL, and absolute best price at garage to fit is £150, so gonna try it myself....but dont have a clue how.... anyone?

30 quid  Shocked Shocked Shocked It's a pants job one I never look forward to. I had one on a gsi which I couldn't shift the bolts holding the diff to the sub frame for toffee. Had to drop the whole sub frame in the end and apply heat. Whole bank holiday weekend wasted

quickest Ive done it was 3 to 4 hours and that was one a car which had had it changed already so no tight bolts, plus Id already done it so knew what was what, plus had 2 helpers.

So yeah £30 = win!

well, seein as im getting my diff MEGA cheap, Wink  think £30 for fitting is sounding pretty damn good! jus hopin my mate gets back to me about doin it tomorrow! Smiley

Looks like a real bitch.

Swapped one on a mates old 3 series, which was a lot easier than that looks.
