I dont know if this has been done before , but we did it on Vxclub . And it was popular for a while . Lets have a mugg shot of yah and put some faces to the names , nothing pornagraphic as were supposed to be the more grown up side of the vauxhall range . Had to phone Grampian fire Brigade a couple of month's back. I had a rear nice 'J' plate BMW 316 that was going to engine fitted at local garage. Fitted to a proper 'A' frame and was atached to father-in-laws works van. Thing is, got no more that 2 miles and the bloody thing caught fire! Had no cylinder head (still in garage), battery (in spare car) and no fuel. Boy did it take alight, took out me car, and the father-inlaws company van (with all company tools). That went down well. Now this was April this year, and on this day it started to rain, did i say rain, meant RAIN! 2 burnt out vehicles and and the cops left us to soak out side. me, the son who was 11 and the father in-law. Fire brigade came did the job and was in amazement. Good bunch of folk (Part time up here). Take my hat off to them all. This may seem pointless post, but in your line of work, your out at the front. Never knowing what will be next. And having to deal with with something new everday day. Bit Like a Carlton. But hey, end of the storey, total respect to you. You dont know what you are going to jump into when in a situation of the job, and also when you are dealing with your own life and personal situation. Wish you well, as all members of Service's seem to get a hard deal, even though they save live's. And without out Personel like you good self, there would be less of us. |

Whatever gave you that idea??!!! Both of these photo's were taken today. This one at a village called Tuxford where i work (just off A1 north of Newark).  I have to drive under this bridge about 20 times a day (the bus is 14'8" by the way).  |
