Ahh - it appears that Bristol is in the English channel, Blyth is now in Leeds and Lincoln is where Canbridge once was!

How does one use the map and stick one's pin in it?

BTT - a few interpretations:

Bumped to top

or some people just put "bump"

(or BTTT, with "the" in the middle.)

Hi Peeps.  Smiley

Heres another newbie to add to the collection....tonight i just bought myself a GSI 3000 24V....well my birthday is soon so i thought why not and i managed to get it for a reasonable price..so no doubt ill be putting a few threads up to bounce a few things off you lot lol....
I have had Carltons before but this is my 1st GSI.. i mainly had MK3 of various guises but ive had a couple of MK2's (a GL and a CDi) and a MK1 estate..
Just for the record i found the link to this site via 'Autobahnstormers' whilst i was having a look ...and i'm glad i did..
anyway here's to the sucess of this site and long may it continue..

I just have one suggestion...... when i first came on here i was trying to find out what weaknesses the GSI had like engine and gearbox availiability of spares and so on...could some one compile something like a 'what to look for' when purchasing a Carlton so a buyer can go to the seller armed with a bit more knowledge and can check the car over a bit more thoroughly..
I'd welcome your thought's on this and perhaps anyone could add to it as well telling everyone what they learned from experiance (or the 'hard' way)

Hi Kilo 3000.
No not as yet...i bought the car off Ebay last night and im picking the car up on Monday (6th)...at the moment it's not the best looking car as it needs things finishing off (the seller has had the rear wheel arches replaced and has not had them re-sprayed) but it looks all complete..
It might sound a bit sad but i would like to try to keep it original as far as poss..that said i will probably mod the stuff you cant see like the engine, suspension and brakes (money permitting)..
but as soon as i get her i will take a few photos and put them up on here.
