Glad you're happy with it mate, they do return good consumption, & handle well.  Just keep your eye on the front springs though, they tend to break. The dealers do replace these gratis if they do go, assuming they're standard springs.

Lowring it -35 is a good call, if you went that route. Cool

His has so far been less reliable than the 03 Fiat Stilo it replaced lol. Needed an alternator, it wouldn't idle, then would idle but had no power, new wheel bearings, new front springs, one rear spring has broken.

Thats not good mate. wheel bearings, what mileage has it got on it? Huh
Springs are the bug bear on these but are a warrunty claim at the dealers.
I would say the egr valve & possibly a clean on throttle body should sort the idling? Wink

So far, I've done 150 miles on 3 gallons of weasel. Cool The main reason I bought it, so job's jobbed.

Had a play in it too - found a few limits (managed to cross one, but it righted itself after getting it slightly sideways a little Grin), discovered the cruise control, the steering wheel goes up, down plus in and out - loving that - the seats are well comy, innit, with plenty of adjustment............. but I was getting confuzzled at the way the wipers worked, till I found out they have rain detectors. Embarrassed
Also, the indicator switch seemed to have a mind of it's own till I realised a quick flick set them off for three flashes, and holding it a second longer let them flash until you turned them off of the self cancellation cut in.
Stereo is like the Omega's in that it gets louder the faster you go.
I don't think it's got TC - at least, that one can switch orf!
Brakes are brilliant. No, really - they are.
Have to say that I'm actually enjoying it in all honesty - no downsides as yet.

The indicators, if you want to cancel them your self, then just push it in the same direction as you pushed to indicate, if you have auto wipers you have auto dimming mirror too. Wink if you activate the rear wiper this will alter the intermittency to coincide with the fronts.  Wiper stalk has a sensitivtiy switch on the top. Grin

 Good consumption btw! Smiley

Nope, no dimming mirror, but definitely have the auto wipers.
Not got leccy windows in the back either - my daughter was seriously unimpressed.
No bother to me - I always sit in the front!

Lies, all lies! Shocked
Must go to Specsavers, cos what I thought was the manual lever turns out to be the photocell in it's mount! Embarrassed
Also, when I touched it (to try and dip the mirror like a dumbass!) an orange light under it came on - WTF is all that about? It went out after 10 - 15 minutes though.
It managed 270 miles on £30 of weasel juice, and that includes me erm..... shall we say  'finding it's limits' on a private road t'other night........... happy with that, as it's got the performance better than a 2.6 Carlton. Grin

Might take some pics on Sunday after it's bath.
