I think you are on about Matt's old 2.6i Estate? I've not got any pictures of this car but I do have this magazine article of the Irmscher Senator C40E that inspires most people to do this conversion.

How good is your German mate?

No offence taken, but i am a Senny owner, and iv always loved the Senny shape , from the days my dad bought one brand new when i was a kid, know what you mean tho with the mix cross breed with the Carly aswell, gorgous!! but i did buy a couple of carltons before i eventually bought i 1st Senny, but i could never chop them up, which is why i got the best of both worlds and got 1 of each, the Carly in the pic on ya 'introduction' post and an ex-police Senny(no foto as yet, camera bust)  Cool

It's worth doing just so you can have a Senaton or a Carltonator.

Or a Sencar?

Even a Carsen?
Sounds a bit Saab/Ikea or Abba band member, but hey, it's different..............

Defo an Abba band member, Carsen sounds like some Oxford both with glasses, where everyone has last names for firsts. LOL

Yeah thats why I like em lol. I reckon they work quite well. Senaton would be a Senator front on a Carlton, Carltonator would be a Carlton front on a Senator - aka the Nissan Sil80, or 1Via (180sx with a Silvia front and vice versa).

Think we'v established a carltonator is a Carlton front and Senator rear, you want a Senator front a? so that will be a Senaton  Cool

GM didn't really make an Omega C - there was the Omega A (Carlton here in the UK only) B, B mini-facelift and B facelift.

I know such as Irmscher, and Steinmetz refer to the B facelift as the Omega C, but officially, there was no such thing!
