Hi guys... Im new here.. although ive been a long time lover of carltons and have spent a while mooching thru the forum...

Ive just bought (couple of months back) a 93 diamond estate...  2.0 se manual

Ive been a fan of carltons for ages.  My dad had a brown mk2 when i was younger, and then later on bought a black 3.0CDX estate that realy drew me into the carlton thing Grin

I recently bought a boat and decided my polo wasnt gonna cut it towing the thing... so i went on the hunt for a towcar.  and up popped the carlton on ebay,  Went and had a look and settled on a price......

One owner from new..  140,000 ish miles....heated leather  Cheesy Cheesy

too say im in love with it is an understatement.... Wink

Anyway.. My name is dan... And im a carlton addict  Cheesy

That looks Nice.

There are a few of us on here with Diamonds.  Personally I prefer the 3ltr 24v Diamond.

Enjoy the site.

Hello mate and welcome, nice diamond you got there, does the aircon still work?

You could always drop in a 3 litre lump if you fancy it Wink

No aircon annoyingly... the previous owner had it removed prior to ordering it...   I.e nocost option i think?  strange realy....  Cheesy  Ah well...  got a leccy sunroof and windows...  nothing like a cool summers breeze ay  Wink  haha

Dont think ill be dropping a 3.0 in as much as id love to.  Need it to be sorta good on fuel as alot of my miles are in traffic...  That said my dads thinkin about selling his citroen DS and buying another haha  might convince him to buy a gsi so i can get my named driver/ 6 pot fix  Grin
