I think it's far more than a 300% markup on factory gate prices

I know for a fact that 20 years ago Jaguar had a 1000% markup on what they paid the manufacturer

Nice to see some prices coming down....Last time I bought a manifold gasket for a 12v from FRF Vauxhall in Swansea it was £64 Land-Barge!!!

Yeah VX really know how to take the mick....

For a start there's the prices. I've a mate with an old E30 beemer and the equivalent parts for his are 75% cheaper...

and then there is the ludicrous, pathetic even way they want you to be a large quantity of something. well this is how it works with Evans Halshaw... I wanted some clips for the sill covers, they wanted me to buy 50! I wanted rear arch proitectors they wanted me to buy 4 pairs EH?  I thought they were supposed to be the dealer, isn't that the idea that they buy them in and sell them on in the quantity required... bunch of retards...

Its not all bad from the dealers tbh, i recently got some oil & filter for my Vec-c & it was less than half price & cheaper than a local motor factors too. plus i just bought a battery for my red-un, that was £35 instead of £54.
