4 stud hub help

Is there a 4 stub hub that will fit straight onto the mk3 carlton front stub axle/upright?
The reason i ask is i'm not keen on the front suspension setup on my MK1 Carlton estate
It has tie bars running backwards and holding a suspension arm in position (same as an Opel monza) but you can't get polybushes for 2 of the 3 bushes
Also the damper body is one piece with the stub axle and there is a lack of uprated dampers available for the mk1
But after stripping the 24v GSI i'm left with the front subframe/dampers etc
It looks like it will fit which would give a much better suspension setup that i can get parts for, aswell as much better options for upgrade bits.
But as my MK1 is 4 stud i'd need to change front hubs so they all match the axle.
Its going to need to be a rwd car hub i would think (which narrows it a lot)
So just wondering if there is a known hub that will fit before i start digging into the web to try and find an answer

Can you not just run 5 stud wheels? There will be something that will fit but would imagine you'd have to mess about with different wheel bearings etc.

I could run 5 stud front wheels, but as my rear axle is 4 stud that would mean different wheels front and rear and 2 spares in the boot.
Plus i have a nice set of 16" 4 stud rims that suit the car already on it so don't want to change.
Don't mind having to mess around a bit to get something to fit.
