1990/1 CARLTON ESTATE BROCHURE

Anybody got a 1991 model year facelift Carlton brochure to sell, or a copy (2.6 engine)? Probably published around October 1990 when it was released.
Might have been a combined saloon & estate brichure. Tried ebay no luck.

Anyway, Is this 12page Vauxhall (V7479 published August 1990) brochure the one you are talking about man of kent??



If so, its a pretty general Carlton brochure and not very 2.6i engine specific. As you can imagine, 12pages to advertise Carlton L's, GL's, CD's, CDX's and GSi's means that the majority of this brochure is vague with more pictures than interesting statistics.

But if this is the Carlton brochure you want and you are really, really desperate to see whats inside....then pm me your email address and I'll email a scan of mine to you. I will NOT post full brochure contents on any forums.

I've now just sent you 4 emails with a total of 14 scanned brochure pages Keith. Its a mixture of both brochures pictured above with specifics about Estates, CDX models and the 2.6i engine!

Thanks for these Sean. Interesting reading. On reading them I realised I had a brochure back in the 90's when I ran them as an everyday car. Probably threw them away when I went on to more modern Vauxhalls. Wish I had kept them.

I should find them some time. They will probably turn up. You see dealers at jumbles.

I bought Murph's 1990 estate which I am informed is a very early example of the 1991 model year 2.6. It seems to have 1990 model year parts on it as well. I know from experience in the factories that they have to use up old model parts and if they have problems with the new 1991 model year parts fitting them will use the older parts. It is interesting to look at the spec list and compare it with mine.

Clicky this eBay linky for a 48page 1993 Carlton Brochure....

I know its a 1993 brochure but the information inside it about the 2.6i engine remained basically unchanged from the 1991 version you were originally after.



If anything, this last edition Carlton brochure is the better one because it covers all of the outgoing models available and the pictures inside are just that little bit posher!

I was lucky and got the 1989 and 1993 brochures on ebay and a CDX special brochure. Still looking for the printed late 1990 copy of the 1991 model year.

I've had a few Carlton brochures off eBay. There is one seller on there that has several brochures at a buy it now and his prices are around double that of other sellers.
I am trying to get Carlton brochures for every the new ('86 on) model was on sale. I'll do a separate thread to list them, as there some I want.

Got one from ebay, arrived yesterday. Its the 1st issue for the 1991 model range dated October 1990, so its just right for my 2.6 December 1990 first reg.

Also now have a 1993 brochure complete with a separate club leaflet which came with the 1993 2.0 club estate I just bought.
