Has anyone ever done this? I know the heater pods attatched to the door cards on the senator and to the dash on the carlton.

You know I've done it you tart! Roll Eyes

But by leaving the pods off, there's a big gaping hole..................mind you, if I left MY pods off, there'd be a gaping hole.

Not to mention a big draft!!!!!

It is true,
I am one of those who have performed this delicate surgical procedure  Grin
Before I installed the Seny dash I had the door cards fitted (obviously I had to remove the Carlton pods), how I got around the gaping hole was to use some of that black 'grip' matting you can get from places like Poundstretcher for a couple of quid, just cut it to shape (using the pods I took off) then simply stuck it in place, didn't look brilliant but at least it looked better than the holes...

Another quick question regarding the door lights. Is it just a case of pinching a 12v feed from the door switch in the hinge and an earth from the door itself in order to make them work?

No, cos' the door switch makes the earth, I had to run a separate live from the interior lights, it was a real pain in the butt, only because I had to thread the wire through the wire conduit at the door hinge and that IS packed tight.

Having said that if you only want the door lights to come on when the door is opened you should be able to pick up a live feed from the window wiring, in my case I wanted the lights to come on via the door switch and the interior light switch, hence the aggro.

Just a case of how you want to do it really... Wink
