Same as above really! There's a senator down my local scrappie and wondered if it would all fit in my GSI3000?

Yeah but controls are not compatible, plus as soon as you start to strip it its knackered (if its not already)

Theres a guy on here trying to offload 2 dippys. both should have air-con.....wont work though LOL

All Dual ram engines have the same a/c compressor. A Harrison V5. The pulley is for a serpentine belt. The issue may be that the Senator may have a different control valve to the Carlton but this wont cause too much of a problem. The V5 is variable displacement compressor which means that a spring diaphragm adjusts to maintain a specific system pressure and evaporator temperature. Hence, in hot weather, it works harder. Hence, the V5 can be used in many cars but has different pressure switches and control valves, all of which are interchangeable with circlip pliers.

The other mainstream cars that use the same compressor are many of the Daewoo range. Some of the V5s have an extra mounting tag. If it looks the same, it is.
